Homepage of Holger Merlitz

I am a senior researcher at the Leibniz-Institute of Polymer Research Dresden in Dresden, Germany. My field of research is computational physics, with applications to molecular biophysics and polymer physics, diffusion theory and electronic (atomic) structure. I have been the designer of the first generation of the software package FlexScreen for computer-aided drug design (meanwhile being integrated into the multi-purpose simulation tool SIMONA). Here a list of selected publications. Teaching: Polymer theory, quantum computing, cosmology, among others.

What I like to do in my spare time:

Doing sports (running, hiking, trekking), traveling around (preferably in Asian countries), shooting photos. From time to time I develop interest in optical equipment, Hand held binoculars in particular.
