This rather antique leaflet of Hensoldt binoculars is particularly interesting because it comes with a price list (quotations are in Dutch gulden). There is a date printed on the price list, reading 1.6.1953.
The Diagon was the civilian version of what would eventually become the first military binocular of the Bundeswehr (the Bundeswehr was founded in 1955). Note that the 7x50 Diagon is claimed to be newly introduced in this leaflet, the 10x50 version does not yet show up. This may indicate that not all of the Diagon binoculars in production were initially available on the civilian market - after all, this compilation of Hensoldt binoculars dates back the various Diagons, including the 10x50, to 1948.
